With its ground-breaking WiMax solution, the MOTOwi4, Motorola takes the lead in showcasing its technology which provides high speed broadband on-the-go to Internet users. The technology showcases Motorola’s advances over its competitors in the delivery of mobile, fixed and portable WiMAX solutions.
The communications giant is scheduled to provide WiMAX high-speed wireless broadband in late 2007 and early 2008 in key cities in the continental United States. Motorola’s technology can handle a plethora of Internet services on-the-go such as gaming, web browsing, Voice-over-IP (VoIP) calling, video conferencing including audio and video streaming utilizing the company’s IP multimedia subsystem (IMS).
