Announced today is the news that Motorola will be selling it’s embedded communications computing business to Emerson Electric for the sum over three hundred and fifty million dollars.
The reason for Motorola’s actions is that they are working to solely focus on there communications and mobile phone market. T
he embedded computer technology that Motorola was selling and now Emerson Electric will be selling is used to control systems and other computers. Also sweetening the deal Motorola says that they will the sum of three hundred and fifty million to help there mobile phone division, this means that they will gain market share and become stronger than ever which may be good news for stock holders who have already seen there stock prices rising recently.
